Our role as the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation is to elevate that work. We strengthen the Museum’s ability to educate, to research, and to inspire, ensuring the most-visited museum in New Mexico continues to thrive.

 

We raise resources, cultivate community support, and create opportunities that help the Museum reach more learners, explorers, and future scientists across the Land of Enchantment and beyond.

 

Whether funding new exhibitions, supporting outreach initiatives, or investing in long-term sustainability, we’re here to make sure the Museum has what it needs—not just for today’s visitors, but for the generations who will follow.

The Foundation advances the Museum’s research and outreach mission by providing a wide range of support services. We cultivate philanthropic investment, offer financial and marketing expertise, and operate key visitor experiences—including the Verus Research DynaTheater, the Museum's retail experience, the membership program, and a variety of community events.
