Heritage Society of Planned Giving
Making a planned gift enables you to accomplish your personal, financial, estate-planning and philanthropic goals while leaving a legacy and showing your support for the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.
What is the Heritage Society of Planned Giving?
The Heritage Society of Planned Giving was created to recognize individuals and families whose estate plans benefit the Foundation and the Museum. If you name the Foundation as the beneficiary of an estate gift, we want to welcome you as a Heritage Society member.
What is a Planned Gift?
Planned gifts include a provision in a will or trust, a beneficiary designation (on a bank account, retirement plan, or life insurance policy), a transfer of property, or any charitable gift that provides lifetime income to the donor.
Let Us Know About Your Gift
Sharing that you have included the Foundation in your estate plan will enable us to ensure your intentions are carried out as you wish, show our appreciation of your generosity by including you as a member of our Heritage Society, and – equally important – use your example as an inspiration to others to include the Foundation in their future plans.
For more information or to let us know that you’ve included the Foundation in your estate plan, contact Kara Kinney, Chief Development Officer at kkinney@naturalhistoryfoundation.org or (505) 841-2888.
Thank you for thinking of the future of the Museum!
All Planned Gifts are subject to approval from the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation.
Please consult with your personal attorney and/or financial advisor to evaluate your planned giving options.
