Cretaceous Couture 2020 sported an online auction and virtual fashion show benefiting the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation.

MEET A FEW MODELS

ABIGAIL EATON

Abigail Eaton is the Executive Director of the NMMNH Foundation, where she has found her home over the past 18 years … or so.  When not raising funds for the best Museum in the southwest, she spends her free time painting, hiking, riding horses and skiing when the snow is falling.

ALEX GOPAL

Alex Gopal is a SAG-AFTRA Actor/Model/Film Maker who has been in the industry since 2010. He loves sports especially hockey and plays goalie for the NMIceWolves. He also loves to travel, favorite destination is Pompeii. Alex is represented by Presley Talent for acting, trains at E. H. Modeling Academy, is part of the Cutie-Q Youth Modeling Co-Op and is with DMe Modeling.

DONOVAN ROYBAL

Donovan Roybal is an intelligent, active, and social two year old. With the help of the Cutie-Q Youth Modeling Co-Op, he has worked in both film and print. He enjoys trying new things with new people and has an affinity for the camera. His current loves are Toy Story, dinosaurs, and sports.Introduce your team! EILEEN SHEDD

Eileen has been married to Walter for over 50 years. They moved to Albuquerque from the Boston area 25 years ago. They are the proud parents of three adult children and four grandchildren who range in age from 18 months all the way to 21 years old. Eileen is a retired elementary school teacher who enjoys playing golf and bridge with Walter and her friends.

GABBY DOMENICI

Gabby Domenici is a sophomore at Sandia High School. Her favorite subjects are math and science. Her favorite sport is track. In July 2020, she participated in the AAU West Coast Junior Olympics, where she placed 2nd in the high jump, 3rd in the triple jump, and 4th in the 100m hurdles in her age division. This is her first year participating in Cretaceous Couture.

HANNAH WIGGINS

Hannah Wiggins spends nights as a Labor and Delivery nurse and fills her days riding her horse and bringing up her baby, Oso, a 70 pound, 6 month old Black Labrador Retriever.  Hannah has enjoyed growing up in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science and continues to explore her interests in science and natural history.  Hannah is also an avid hiker and skier.

JADE VARGAS

Jade Vargas, 15 years old, reigning Teen Universe New Mexico 2019, is a student at Public Academy for Performing Art and studies singing and musical theatre. She has been in the pageantry and modeling community for 12 years and hopes to compete in more pageants in the future.  Her hobbies include modeling, makeup, her cosmetic business, and musical theatre. 

JANET QUINTANA-COOK

Janet Quintana-Cook is the Program Manager of Cancer Services of New Mexico’s signature program – the Family Cancer Retreat. Ms. Quintana-Cook served as Chair of the NMMNHF Board of Directors and is a current board member, as well as, a Cretaceous Couture steering committee co-chair. Janet is a tribal member of both Kewa and Ohkay Owingeh pueblos. When she isn’t working you can find her buried in laundry or engaging in much needed “retail therapy”. She lives in Albuquerque with her brainy, geeky husband, Steve, and two sarcastic (but lovable) children, Jonah and Sterling.

JOAN SCHUELLER

Long-time resident of Albuquerque, retired in 2015 from a 30 year career in Human Resources.  This year, Joan and husband Tim celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.   Joan is an avid golfer and enjoys the challenges of fly fishing.

JULIAN GOPAL

Julian Gopal (14) is a SAG-AFTRA Actor/Model/Film Maker who has been in the industry since 2010. He loves sports especially hockey and plays defense for the NMIceWolves and is an avid “gamer”. He also loves to travel, favorite destination is the Galapagos Islands and Croatia where he found his love for mussels. Julian is represented by Presley Talent for acting, trains at E. H. Modeling Academy, is part of the Cutie-Q Youth Modeling Co-Op and is with DMe Modeling.

KEVIN WIGGINS

You’ve probably seen Kevin Wiggins in many films and television shows over the years, including Breaking Bad, Hell or High Water and Sircario, to name a few.  When not in front of the camera, Kevin finds time to compose music and play his many guitars and keep his wife happy by doing lots of yard work.  He also sneaks in a day or two or so of skiing whenever possible!

LEX TYSSELING

Lex Tysseling has been involved with the NMMNH Foundation Board for 20 years. When she is not volunteering on behalf of the Museum, she plays golf, mahjong, bridge and spends time with family and friends.

LILLIAN & ELLA PARKER

Lillian and Ella Parker live in Corrales and attend Cibola High School. This year will mark Ella’s third year on the runway and Lillian’s second year. Both girls have grown up going to and supporting the NMMNH.  

MICHELE RAINWATER

A native Texan, raised in the Midwest, Michele has adopted New Mexico has her home state.  After retiring from a 20 year career in corporate life with Hallmark cards, Michele devoted herself to grow cabi, wardrobe stylist business, while helping take care of her parents. Now, she couples her cabi business with her work at Su Casa magazine. She lives with her husband Tim, their daughter Claire, and their 2 precocious fur babies.  She enjoys serving her clients through the gift of fashion, Bible studies through Sagebrush church, decorating, and spending time with her family. 

SONORA UDELL

Sonora has enjoyed print modeling since she was a toddler and is a natural on the runway, chosen by designers for her look and professionalism. When she’s not training or modeling with DMe Talent, she’s a competitive cheerleader and a hobby baker.
