Ambassador animals like our Naturalist Center critters help visitors understand New Mexico’s ecosystems and the challenges wildlife face. Because these rescued animals cannot return to the wild, the museum provides lifelong care, enrichment, and veterinary support.
Adopting a Naturalist Center animal means providing financial support, ensuring the Naturalist Center can provide the proper medical care and habitats these animals need to thrive. When you adopt an animal at the Naturalist Center, your name or company logo can be displayed near the animal's habitat to show your support, and we will send you a thank-you gift with information about the animal you adopted.
